In middle school, words can be weapons or gifts. They can win friends, make enemies, and sometimes change everything.
When cell phones are banned at Branton Middle School, Frost and his friends—Deedee, Wolf, and Bench—start leaving sticky notes for each other.
The idea catches on, but for every kind note, there's a cruel one as well. Then, a new girl named Rose joins the school, threatening the tight bond of Frost’s group. As the sticky-note war intensifies, Frost realizes that by the end of the year, everything will change.
