The Children's Room
The Children’s Room is a bright and happy place to discover books, engage in storytimes, book groups, craft projects, or games. Children’s librarian and bilingual storytime leaders are on hand to inspire and advise on wonderful books and other materials for children and families.

Try different techniques to craft a simple square out of yarn. Choose to crochet a granny square or make a woven coaster using a cardboard loom.
Big Library Read: Virtual Author Event
Join the Big Library Read community for a FREE live author event on November 21 for a live reading, audience Q&A, and story writing fun for the whole family!
Laptime for Pipsqueaks
This storytime utilizes "lap bounces," fingerplays, songs, and picture books to underline the importance of talking, singing, and reading with babies. Puppets, shakers, and colorful scarves also engage our littlest patrons and encourage caregiver/child interaction.

Little Folks & Friends
We embrace the boundless energy of toddlers and focus on stories, singing, and movement. Storytimes are centered on a theme to increase vocabulary and knowledge of a subject. Toddlers learn sounds, letter/number recognition, and language patterns while having fun with their caregivers and peers.
