Event Details

Learn about and get inspired by the Library's native pollinator garden in this expressive workshop. Participants will observe nature and document it through drawings and written reflections. Take your journals home and continue to capture the beauty of the natural world in your neighborhood and imagination.

Jessica M. Colón, a bilingual educator, is the Founder and President of For the People and Kids, Inc. Previously, she was an Educator at The New York Botanical Garden's Edible Academy and was Museum Educator at the Bronx Children's Museum and Morris Jumel Mansion Museum. 

This program is a collaboration with For the People and KIDS, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with local farms, gardens, and other groups to provide diverse, hands-on programs that empower community members of all ages.
