Event Details
Children get into the holiday spirit with this creative program featuring holiday-themed arts and crafts. Participants make festive decorations and discuss some traditional winter holidays we celebrate at home, including Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day.
Jessica M. Colón, a bilingual educator, is the Founder and President of For the People and Kids, Inc. Previously, she was an Educator at The New York Botanical Garden's Edible Academy and was Museum Educator at the Bronx Children's Museum and Morris Jumel Mansion Museum.
This program is a collaboration with For the People and KIDS, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with local farms, gardens, and other groups to provide diverse, hands-on programs that empower community members of all ages.
