When kids are on winter break, the Library is a great destination for a fun hands-on exploration of textures, colors, and shapes!
Join us for a series of three art workshops for children Grades K-5 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, February 20, 21, and 22. Click here to register.
We are thrilled to welcome bilingual teacher Jessica Colon from For the People and KIDS, who will lead the program. Space is limited; to sign up, please click on the Upcoming Events calendar.
Jessica is founder, president, and bilingual educator at For the People and Kids. She has served as educator at The New York Botanical Garden’s Edible Academy, the Bronx Children’s Museum, and Morris Jumel Mansion Museum.
This series is co-sponsored by For the People and KIDS, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with local farms, gardens, and other groups to provide diverse, hands-on programs that empower community members of all ages.
