Stellar, amazing, inspiring!
Stories Behind the Songs, with Sam Hollander and Rob Cavenagh attracted an eclectic, creative crowd at our sold-out event at the Bedford Hills Community House on September 26.
It was great to hear the stories and songs featured in Sam’s book, 21-Hit Wonder: Flopping My Way to the Top of the Charts. After a rocky start with many pitfalls in the music industry, Sam achieved multi-platinum status and has written and produced for the likes of Panic! At The Disco, One Direction, Katy Perry, Ringo Starr, Def Leppard, Carole King, Jewel, and many others.
The event highlighted opportunities to help expand new initiatives and raised $5,000 to jumpstart our 2024 annual fund drive goal of $50K.
All proceeds support the Library’s program initiatives celebrating inclusivity, teen programs, and workshops with creatives and artists.
